This split album by Malvento from Campania (Italy), Malauriu from Sicily (still Italy) and the Japanese band Abigail presents itself as one of the most particular and interesting releases of the extreme underground scene of the recent months. A deep work that has the merit of enclosing different dark sides of the Black Metal and the most extreme Thrash. The ghostly blacksters Malvento begin the macabre dance through an exorcising intro that evokes, disturbs, enchants and with its spoken vocal lines, paves the way to the pounding IL SIGNORE DEL DESERTO which, thanks to the lyrics in Italian, shows how the black flame can burn in the fertile south of Italy. Nefastus' guitar is amazingly sharp, Zin's voice is dark and Incinerator's drumming is incessant. The slower rhythm is redefined with first class outbursts (really impactful) as in the following NEL SEME IL GERME, where everything is even faster and tighter in a Black Metal typical of the Norwegian beginnings of the genre.

The extreme assumes, in the following tracks, different but equally obscure connotations thanks to the primordial Thrash/Street Metal played by Abigail, that in GODS OF KHAOS ENDLESS WAR are able to reach an extraordinary violent execution as in BLOODY YOUR LOVELY PUSSY where the incendiary guitar solo it's worth to be mentioned. The adjective "Street" can easily be used to describe Yasuyuki's wonderfully raw voice as well as Jero's razor-forging guitar that Youhei's drums supremely support.

Malauriu, a band devoted to an uncompromising Black Metal, have the task of closing this split album and doing it in the best possible way. EVIL LUST is a unique, extreme, malefic track where Schizoid's work on guitars, Venor's vocals, S.T. on bass and Morg on drums combines in a darkness broken and then stitched back up by sudden changes of rhythm in which the singer's growl has the peculiarity of adapting and to effectively support. The following DISTRUTTORE (Nerorgasmo's cover) musically follows the line of the previous track, particularly vivid is the cantato in Italian which adds even more aggressiveness to the piece. Phenomenal!

A distressing melody (but it is a virtue) is the outro of the split made by Malauriu, bells toll reminding us that the work has come to an end but we are sure that soon we will hear more about the bands that have contributed to the realization of this interesting and sulphurous work.

Lo Split tra i campani Malvento, i siciliani Malauriu ed i giapponesi Abigail si presenta come una delle uscite più particolari ed interessanti dell’underground estremo di questi ultimi mesi. Un lavoro intenso che ha il pregio di racchiudere in sé diverse oscure sfaccettature del Black Metal e del Thrash più oltranzista.Gli spettrali blackster Malvento danno inizio alla danza macabra attraverso un esorcizzante intro che con le sue linee vocali parlate evoca, disturba, ammalia e apre alla cadenzata IL SIGNORE DEL DESERTO che, anche tramite il cantato in italiano, dimostra come la fiamma nera possa ardere nel fertile meridione italico. Tagliente è la chitarra di Nefastus, oscura è la voce di Zin ed incessante il drumming di Incinerator. Il ritmo prima più lento si ridetermina con delle sfuriate da primi della classe (veramente di impatto) come nella successiva NEL SEME IL GERME, dove il tutto è ancora più veloce e serrato in un Black Metal tipico degli esordi norvegesi del genere. 

L’estremo assume, nelle tracce successive, diversi ma ugualmente oscuri connotati grazie al Thrash/Street Metal primordiale degli Abigail che in GODS OF KHAOS ENDLESS WAR raggiungono una violenza d'esecuzione fuori dal comune come peraltro in BLOODY YOUR LOVELY PUSSY dove è da menzionare in particolar modo l’incendiario assolo di chitarra. L'aggettivo “Street” può essere facilmente utilizzato nel descrivere la meravigliosamente grezza voce di Yasuyuki nonché la chitarra di Jero capace di forgiare rasoiate che la batteria di Youhei supporta in maniera eccelsa.

I Malauriu, band dedita ad un Black Metal senza compromessi, hanno il compito di chiudere lo split e la fanno nel modo migliore possibile. EVIL LUST è una traccia unica, estrema, malefica dove il lavoro di Schizoid alla chitarra, Venor alla voce, S.T. al basso e Morg alla batteria si amalgamano in un'oscurità spezzata e ricucita da cambi di ritmo repentini in cui il growl del cantante ha la particolarità di adattarsi e di supportare efficacemente. La successiva DISTRUTTORE (cover dei Nerorgasmo) segue musicalmente la linea della precedente traccia, particolarmente incisivo è il cantato in italiano che aggiunge ancora più aggressività al pezzo. Fenomenali!

Melodia angosciante (ma è un pregio) è l’outro dello split sempre ad opera dei Malauriu, rintocchi di campane ci ricordano che l'opera è giunta al termine ma noi siamo convinti che presto sentiremo nominare ancora le band che hanno contribuito alla realizzazione di questo interessante e sulfureo lavoro.
